About Tyne & Esk Rural Communities Development Fund

applications for 2026/27 are now open

The Tyne & Esk Local Action Group (LAG) supports community‑led development across East Lothian and Midlothian. Originally formed to deliver EU LEADER funding, it now guides the Scottish Government’s Community Led Local Development (CLLD) programme in the area.

The LAG brings together community, business, third sector and public sector representatives, supported by local partners who provide advice and expertise.

East Lothian Council acts as the Accountable Body, hosting the programme within its Economic Development team. The CLLD Project Officer works alongside the LAG to deliver funding that strengthens local communities.
