Demonstrating the Difference You Make
The Social Value Engine enables organisations to measure, evidence and communicate the wider impact of their work. By quantifying social, economic and environmental outcomes, it helps demonstrate value to funders and stakeholders, supports better investment decisions, and showcases the real difference projects make to communities.
Tyne & Esk CLLD Funding Impact
The Tyne & Esk CLLD Programme demonstrates the impact of community-led investment. Between November 2022 and March 2026, over £1 million of Scottish Government funding generated nearly £6.5 million in social value, delivering an average return of £6.50 for every £1 invested.
During the 2025/26 Programme Tyne & Esk LAG and Observer contributions also generated significant value, delivering £7.25 of social value for every £1 invested and creating over £67,500 of additional social value through volunteer-led governance and decision-making.
