The John Muir Way Marketing and Business Engagement Officer is now in place and is busy producing/commissioning the marketing materials for our John Muir Way co-operation project.
One of these is a new Facebook video inviting people to discover the John Muir Way.
The advertising value of the video has been very effective – so far it has generated over 36,000 video views and helped to grow the John Muir Way’s Facebook following by over 15%.
Facebook interest in the video is 18 times that of the previous highest post. This highlights the power of good marketing content. A key aim of the project is to translate greater awareness into increased visits to the John Muir Way, which can only be a benefit to all.
