Girlguides and Brownies Celebrate Essential Upgrades to their Campsite

Ribben cut by brownie and guide

The Midlothian Brownies and Girl Guides camped out overnight in torrential rain the day before the launch of their newly refurbished storehouse, paid for in part with a grant from Tyne Esk LEADER.

Luckily it was beautiful weather on the morning of the launch.  Local Action Group Vice Chair Anne Hastie spoke about Tyne Esk LEADER's involvement and the ribbon and the cake were cut by a brownie and a guide.

Tyne Esk LEADER is delighted to have been able to support increased access to outdoor green space for young people!
