As of August 2010, Tyne Esk LEADER has committed funding to 36 projects under the dual themes of Revitalising Communities and Creating a Progressive Local Economy.

In a short time Tyne Esk LEADER has funded a wide range of valuable activities.  Projects have included refurbishing community halls, public events programmes, children and families, green energy, pre-employment training schemes, projects for the disabled, arts and exhibitions, health and education support, community media, tourism, marketing, harbour development, environmental and wildlife education, feasibility studies, youth clubs, historical interpretation, public lighting works and heritage works.
