Types of Award
Local Innovative Projects (Action 1)
If you have a project idea that will revitalising communities in our rural areas and by so assisting a progressive rural economy you may be able to apply for funding from the programme.
Projects that will be considered include those that address:
- Environmental Improvements
- Tourism Initiatives
- Community Transport
- Conservation and Heritage
- Health and Well Being
- Food and Agriculture
- Community Facilities
- Access and Interpretation
Joint Projects (Action 2)
The LEADER programme also places strong emphasis on co-operation and networking between rural areas both within the UK and throughout Europe. The Tyne Esk LEADER programme therefore has a separate pot of funding available for suitable projects that demonstrate either:
- Co-operation within Scotland and the United Kingdom – Trans Regional Projects
- International co-operation within Scotland and the EU – Trans National Projects
