LEADER in East Lothian and Midlothian
Funding has now reopened!
Tyne Esk has already committed over £2.8 million pounds to local projects and is now nearing the end of this funding programme.
Please complete an Initial Enquiry Form to register your interest.
Your enquiry will be assessed for suitability to the scheme and if eligible, you will receive an application form. If you have submitted an enquiry but not yet heard back, please contact us.
Please note that there is high demand for funding and applicants will be expected to show how their project contributes to the local development plan as well as displaying innovation and a capacity to undertake the project. Where appropriate, you will be asked to show how the project can be sustained beyond the funding period.
Projects are restricted to a maximum funding period of 2 years and, due to the 2007-2013 programme coming to a close, we hope to complete most projects by December 2013 to allow for preparation of the new programme. Projects wishing to run beyond this point would need to demonstrate that a significant advantage can be made in doing so and will be assessed on a case by case basis by the Local Action Group.
It is expected that the deadline for the next round of applications will be the first week in August with applications being assessed in September. If you wish to be register your interest, please complete an Initial Enquiry Form.
The deadline for this round is 5pm on May 7th 2012.
Applications will be assessed by the Tyne Esk Local Action Group by Monday 11th June and you will hear from us shortly after this date.
