In the first instance, enquiries should be directed to the LEADER Project Officer; details can be found at the Contact Us page.  Initial queries about eligibility and strategic fit can be answered at this early stage.  Depending on the nature of the proposal, the Project Officer will often visit the site of the project and meet the applicant to discuss the proposal at length.

At this stage, the applicant will be asked to complete an Initial Enquiry form which should be returned to the to Project Officer. If your project is eligible for funding you will then invited to complete a full Application Form.

This application will then be assessed and presented to the Local Action Group for consideration at one of their quarterly meetings.

All applicants will be informed of the LAG's decision immediately following each meeting.

Applications should always be completed electronically, and then printed, signed in blue ink and returned to the LEADER office by the relevant deadline. You should also email a copy of your completed application to leader@tyneesk.co.uk
